After establishing an advancement campaign for Denison University focused on the quintessential college experiences that transcend generations (mainly, needing financial help), and with the class of 2020 about to enter college, it was the perfect time to launch a social campaign everybody can relate to: poor fashion choices.

Vanderbilt Business prides themselves on their ethical approach, but when million dollar mergers are on the line, compassion and humility aren’t always seen as strengths. To counter the "nice guys finish last" mentality, I combined Vandy’s moral message with an unquestionably clever voice. Because everybody respects smart.

The Meijer Meat team came to us with six quality claims—powerful facts that clearly differentiated Certified Angus Beef from their competition. Copy needed to be clever, but not fluffy. Factual, but friendly.

The world of higher education is full of idiosyncrasies. As the nation's leading creative agency for higher education branding, Ologie needed to show attendees of the American Marketing Association's higher ed conference that we get it. And therefore, we get them. Considering we ran out of shirts the first day, I'd say we nailed it.

Meijer needed a back to school campaign that was highly engaging AND highly promotional. Below is one of four animations I concepted. The others included an eager beaver nervously gnawing on pencils, and a flying squirrel flying a fleet of paper airplanes.

No relation to the holiday gift cards above, a former co-worker and current friend asked me to design his personalized holiday card. I came back with an idea that acknowledged the global pandemic without losing the joy of the season. He especially liked the handsome fella on the front.

It might seem like a small job, but when you consider how much time we stand next to our cars pumping gas, Meijer's gas station screens are their best opportunity to connect with customers. (And now you know I never take a project off.)

With the big idea of "A rewards program as mighty as you" already in place, I was challenged to promote mPerks gift card rewards. Copy needed to be informative, but mighty. Easy to understand, but impossible to ignore.
